2 of Wands, Queen of Pentacles, Knight of Swords, and 6 of Pentacles tarot cards

Your energy is the only resource you have total control over.

How do you feel when you are starting something new? How can you carry that energy to the follow through phase? How can you stay as motivated and excited to do the thing as you are about the idea of the thing? Maybe the answer is, if you can’t stay excited it’s not the thing for you. (2 of Wands)

Knowing what things are for you and what aren’t allows you to focus your energy on cultivating a life that feels like subtle luxury. Energy flows rather than surging and waning in an exhausting cycle. What can you do consistently that supports you and gives you sustainable energy? (Queen of Pentacles)

When you need extra energy for one area of your life, other areas will suffer. This isn’t a problem as long as you are realistic about your capacity. What areas of life are you willing to put less energy into while you focus on others? What do you need to stop doing right now so you can put more into what has to happen now without burning out? (Knight of Swords)

Pay attention to when you try to do too much without being asked. Stop to consider if what you’re giving is what the recipient needs or wants. You can give everything you have but if it’s not what they need, it will be wasted and you’ll both be left without what you need. Ask before you give rather than begging for a thank you after. (6 of Pentacles)
