What speed limit are your thoughts setting for you?
Stale thoughts weigh you down, preventing you from moving as quickly and agilely as you want to. Thoughts aren’t meant to be fixed. They aren’t meant to be grasped so tightly. What have you been clinging to that you need to let go? Who do you need to make amends with (even if it’s yourself)? What weight do you need to set down so you can move freely? (Knight of Swords)
You can’t move quickly if you are off balance. Achieving balance requires taking responsibility for your actions. Justice is balance. Justice isn’t punishment, it’s leadership, authority, and ownership. How have your actions created your situation? Where do you need to take responsibility for establishing balance? If you set down the weight of those thoughts that are holding you back, will you be able to balance and move with more ease? (Justice)
You don’t have to release everything at once. In fact, doing too much is counterproductive. If you suddenly drop all of the weight you’d been carrying on one side, you’ll fall to the other side. Staying in motion requires small adjustments so you can counterbalance. Don’t rush this process. Every little adjustment you make will help you stay on course. (8 of Wands)
Do you believe that you deserve to let those thoughts go? Are you afraid of what it says about you if you can? Letting old wounds stay open under the surface doesn’t make you better or stronger than people who process them openly. Healing isn’t a competition and you don’t have to earn the right to feel what you feel. (3 of Swords)
